About Me
I was born on a Melancthon area farm, in the 60’s and graduated from the University of Guelph with a diploma of horticuture in 1985. My Parents and I operated a beef, hog and potato operation for almost 30 years. During that time my dad and myself maintained an extensive shop in which we built and repaired our own machinery. After the farm sold, the shop still continued which evolved into the business it is today.

The foundation of Custom Farm Creations was forged on a Melancthon-area farm. With a background in agriculture and over three decades of operating a beef, hog, and potato farm, our founder brings a deep, practical understanding of the challenges you face. For 30 years, maintaining and building machinery wasn’t just a task—it was a necessity for keeping the operation running, fostering extensive skill in a fully-equipped farm shop.
After the family farm was sold, that essential shop and the commitment to quality workmanship continued to thrive, evolving into the business we are today. We have taken that hands-on, farmer-to-farmer knowledge and applied it to serve the wider community. Our work now extends beyond the farm gate to include businesses, specializing in repairing stairways, railings, and tackling special projects. With an 80-tonne press for straightening heavy steel and capabilities for restoration and repainting, we tackle jobs others can’t.
